INTERNATIONAL POLICY

International mobility: a key accelerator toward success

in&ma, with the aim of preparing students for professional careers, adapts and develops its teaching programme to meet the needs of European industry committed to international competitiveness.

The acceleration of technological changes, client needs, the internationalisation of markets and company networking are leading French and European industries to reinforce internationalised strategies striving for industrial excellence. To remain successful and innovative, companies need managers with a European mindset, who are flexible and capable of adapting to the constantly evolving production space where international economic competitiveness is a key factor.

To ensure an optimal match between the skills to be acquired by its future Production Managers and the European and international job market, in&ma is striving to develop its international policy. It relies on the partnership approach developed through its ongoing partnerships with its outstanding network of over 1000 industries. Thus, in&ma offers and promotes different mobility paths:

The development of the international policy also seeks to create strong links with other European universities. The partnership with the INTERNATIONAL ENGINEERING FACULTY in Lodz (Poland) is a good basis for the study mobility of students, administrative staff, and trainers. The International Department works in collaboration with each player to help them build and fully implement their training or professional experience project.

LANGUAGE POLICY

in&ma implements a language policy that is in line with its international development project. In all the Industrial Management courses, English is compulsory and the expected level to obtain one of the two professional certifications is at least B1 (TOEIC: 550 points).

Refresher courses are organised for students who experience difficulties in their progress. An innovative language training seminar enables groups of students to use the English language in the life of a virtual company.

For non-francophone students, e-learning support in French is available to help them progress. Before their departure to the actual countries, the students follow courses in the language of the country led by native speakers. Cultural preparation is also included in the teaching.

Finally, language preparation is reinforced, before and during the stay by access to the OLS "Online Linguistic Support" e-learning platform

in&ma is a holder of the ERASMUS+ Higher Education Charter awarded within the framework of European programmes and is committed to an increasingly dynamic and enhanced i international policy.

In&ma responds to the objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy and its flagship initiatives with "a strategy for new skills and new jobs":

improving the level of key aptitudes and skills,
improving the quality, innovation, excellence and internationalisation of education and training institutions,
promoting the emergence and awareness of a Europe characterised by lifelong learning,
strengthening the international dimension of education and training,
improving language training and learning.

ERASMUS+ GRANTS

These grants are awarded to learners participating in study and work placement mobilities and depend on the annual global envelope allocated by Europe and the number of participants. A student may receive several Erasmus grants for periods of study and/or work placement mobility up to a maximum total duration of 12 months per study cycle, regardless of the number and type of mobility activities.

INCLUSION AND DIVERSITY STRATEGY

In&ma adopts an inclusive approach allowing equal opportunities and equal access, inclusion, diversity, and equity throughout its activities in order to improve accessibility for persons facing potential barriers: disabilities, health, education and training issues, cultural, social, economic, and geographical differences as well as barriers related to discrimination.

ERASMUS+ provides specific financial support to these target groups whose participation in mobility would be impossible without additional funding.

Process :

After the application and selection phase, the International Programmes Department carries outa needs analysis with the participant and an estimate of the real costs incurred by potential obstacles.
in&ma provides a flat-rate financial supplement to the contribution to accommodation costs.
