INTERNATIONAL POLICY
International mobility: a driver of success
In its mission to provide professionalization training, in&ma adapts and develops its teaching program to respond to the needs of the European industries that compete internationally.
In its mission to provide professionalization training, in&ma adapts and develops its teaching program to respond to the needs of the European industries that compete internationally.
The rapid increase in technological changes, customer needs, market internationalization, and the interconnectedness of businesses have compelled French and European businesses to commit to reinforced, internationalized strategies that have industrial excellence as their objective. To remain innovative and successful, companies need to integrate managers who have a European mindset and are flexible and able to adapt to this ever-changing production environment where international economic competitiveness is a key factor.
To best match up the skills that its future production managers need to acquire with the European and international job market, in&ma does all it can to develop its international policy. It relies on a partner-based strategy developed through its long-standing close ties with the industry (a network of more than 1,000 industries), a feature the school is well known for.
in&ma offers and encourages different international-immersion programs:
Ainsi, in&ma propose et encourage différents parcours de mobilités :
The development of the school’s international policy also aims to create strong ties with different European universities. The partnership with the International Faculty of Engineering in Lodz, Poland, is an excellent option for international education and training for students, administrative staff and teachers.
The international department works with the participants to help them build and make the most of their training or professional experience project.

2other international programs
in&ma has set up a language policy that is part of its international development project. Courses taught in English are mandatory in all of the industrial management programs, and students are expected to have at least a B1 proficiency level in English (550 points on the TOEIC test) to earn one of the two total professional certifications.
Courses offering further help in English have been set up for students who are having trouble making progress. An innovative language education seminar allows groups of students to practice using English in the day-to-day life of a virtual company.
E-learning support for French has been set up to help non-Francophone students make greater progress. Before they leave for their time abroad, students take courses in the language of their destination country. These courses are taught by native-speaking teachers from that country and prepare the students for the culture and customs that they will be immersed in.
Lastly, the students’ language preparation is further strengthened by providing them with access to the OLS (Online Linguistic Support) e-learning platform before their departure and during their time abroad.

There are 5 priorities of the higher-education modernization program focused on the European Union objective of “Supporting growth and employment”:
They are granted to students who participate in international studies and internships and are determined by the overall annual budget provided by Europe and based on the number of participants. The same students can receive Erasmus funding for studying and/or internships abroad for a total maximum period of 12 months per study cycle, irrespective of the amount or type of mobility activities.
The scholarship rates can be found in the document attached below and are reviewed each year.
ERASMUS+ provides specific financial support to students or staff with disabilities whose would be unable to participate in programs abroad without an additional funding.
